Welcome to Lily and Ted!
My name is Tania and I am the owner of Lily and Ted. I make clothing for babies, children and ladies. All my clothes are handmade with the greatest of care from my home in Leeds, West Yorkshire where I live with my husband, Matt, and our two children, Zac and Belle.

A bit about me.....
I first starting sewing around 15 years ago when I bought my first sewing machine. I've always loved crafting and I wanted to be able to make some cushion covers and baby bunting. Unfortunately I had a few years of time when I didn't touch my machine at all. I made lots of home wears but didn't think I'd be able to make anything more advanced which got a little boring. Thats until I had my first baby and came across lots of PDF pattern facebook pages that were mostly based in the US.
I decided to give the clothes PDF patterns a go and through a combination of youtube videos, books and facebook groups, I taught myself how to make clothes which is my absolute favourite thing to do in my spare time. I love sewing!

I have two children who I love to make for especially my little girl. I make lots and lots of dresses for her as well leggings and t-shirts and other bits and bobs. My children have enough handmade clothes to last them a life time and that's where my idea for starting my own children's clothing business came from. I also work part-time at Leeds General Infirmary.
